Can you support us with our production in the UK?
We absolutely can. We offer production services in Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales and the Lake District – basically we’re your local experts in the north. We also help clients with productions across the rest of the UK – and the rest of Europe too.
Is Revolution a real team – not just a freelancer with a lot of mates?
“We” definitely means we! Our team and mix of skills is one of our greatest assets. If we’re not out on a shoot, you can usually find us in our office in central Manchester – pop in and have a brew.
We’re well-connected too, thanks to being in the game for a long time(!), and we can find you the right creatives and specialists for your job as needed.
And we do have lots of mates too. Honest.
Do you work on film and TV projects too?
Absolutely! We’ve worked on documentaries, travel series, TV drama, even big budget feature films including the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man.
We love working on film and TV and can be relied on to get on with everyone, crack on, and deliver fantastic end results.
I need a location for filming, can I hire one from you?
We don’t normally just provide locations as a standalone service, but if you think you might need help with other aspects of your production we’re happy to chat about how we can help.
Can you handle all of the payments to freelancers and suppliers?
Yes we can. We are compliant with HMRC and IR35, USA W8E, and other requisite official bodies – basically, we can get your people paid.
Is there a rate card for crew in the UK?
Crew working time and costs in the UK are governed by the APA rate card and BECTU Union rates. Rates are based on 10+1 or a 9 hour continuous working day.
Saturday is 1.5T, Sunday and public holidays are 2T.
We need a company that can provide stills photography, can you help?
Yes, we are highly experienced working with top international photographers and brands. We’ve worked on stills campaigns for Nike, Puma, MCFC, Nivea, Oppo, McCain and more.
Is it expensive to shoot in Manchester/ the North of England?
Shooting in the north is significantly cheaper than in London, and offers real value for money. You’ve got great cityscapes, rural landscape and coast all close by – it’s a dream for logistics. You’ll get so much more done in less time – and it will look great. Come talk to us – we’ll find you the best locations!
Can you help us with our shoot in Europe?
We certainly can. We’re based in Manchester and offer production services throughout the UK, Europe and beyond – we often support clients with shoots further afield. Always nice to be jetted in as a trusted pair of hands!
We don’t have an agency and need somebody to manage the whole creative. Can you come up with ideas too?
